Northwest Cellars, a Washington-based producer of wines, has used Bonsai Media Group’s BizX to increase its online wine sales, web traffic and awareness of its wines among users.

The winery, which recently won a Double Platinum award for its 2009 Cadenza wine, was looking for a marketing agency to market its custom wine labels and award-winning wines.

Northwest then found BizX, a network of businesses that buy and sell their products and services amongst each other without using cash.

Instead of cash, they use BizX dollars to purchase or sell a product and benefit from new sales within the network, thereby saving cash.

BizX helped Northwest Cellars achieve high sales through its community of businesses that work with over 2,500 companies around the world, which exchange around $50m worth of goods and services every year.

Northwest used this service to know what people thought about their wines and also marketed its custom label program.
