Louis M Martini, a California-based winery that produces cabernet sauvignon wines, has lined up two 2010 vintages – 2010 Monte Rosso Malbec and the 2010 Gnarly Vine Zinfandel – for March 2013 release, as part of its first wine club shipment of 2013.

Both the wines are sourced from Monte Rosso Vineyards that offer ideal conditions for the vines to grow.

Monte Rosso Malbec is a medium-bodied wine and a blend of 89.6% Monte Rosso Malbec and 10.4% Monte Rosso Cabernet Franc.

It features deep purple colour, flavours of dark blueberry fruit and tannins, with hints of smoke and brown spice.

The wine is available for purchase at tasting room, online and through wine club with a retail price of $60 for normal members and $45 for wine club members.

Gnarly Vine Zinfandel is a 100% zinfandel that offers aromas of ripe plum, clove, pepper and brown spice, with hints of vanilla and barbecue spice.

This 2010 vintage also possesses velvety tannin character with a long and spicy finish.

The wine is priced at $50 per bottle for normal members and $37.5 for club members.

To celebrate the launch of the new wines, the winery is conducting two events – the Cellar No 254 Day on 20 April 2013 and the 18th annual Fourth of July celebration on 4 July 2013 – for its wine club members.
