Liqueurs de France, a UK-based premier importer and distributor of absinthe, is to re-launch the Nemesinthe absinthe in newly designed bottle on 1 November 2012 to mark the third anniversary of Nemesinthe’s launch in the UK.

Released for the first time in 2009, the Nemesinthe absinthe is now well established in the UK and in other countries like India and Lebanon, where it is regularly exported.

Absinthe is a distilled, highly alcoholic, anise-flavored spirit that is derived from botanicals including the flowers and leaves of Artemisia absinthium.

The new-format of the Nemesinthe absinthe will be available to both on- and off-trade markets and will also be put on an extensive marketing campaign in 2013.

Liqueurs de France director Ian Hutton said Nemesinthe absinthe was launched in 2009 to provide an entry-level absinthe and to complement their existing range of absinthe.

"To mark its third anniversary we have relaunched it in a stylish new bottle which will enhance its visual impact on both the back bar and retailer’s shelf," Hutton added.

Liqueurs de France is the first company that imports and distributes absinthes from 11 artisanal distillers across six countries.

The 60% ABV Nemesinthe absinthe is available in off trade at Soho Wine Supplies, Percy Street, W1 London at recommended retail price of £30 per 700ml bottle.
