Européenne de Participation Industrielle (EPI), the owner of Champagnes Piper-Heidsieck and Charles Heidsieck brand, has selected New York-based Allen/Cooper Enterprises as its new agency-of-record for the two sparkling wine brands.

The PR agency will raise awareness about the champagne brands’ history, heritage and quality through media relations, events and influencer seeding.

Champagnes Piper-Heidsieck and Charles Heidsieck CEO Cécile Bonnefond said the PR agency has extensive experience with wine and spirits, particularly in the champagne realm, and will enable them to continue to raise awareness about Piper-Heidsieck’s and Charles Heidsieck’s excellence and quality.

"We look forward to working with the Allen/Cooper team in what we believe will be a long and fruitful partnership," Bonnefond added.

Allen/Cooper Enterprises co-founder and principal Helen Allen said they are honoured to become a part of the highly accomplished and talented Piper-Heidsieck and Charles Heidsieck teams.

Allen’s business partner ACE co-founder and principal Meryl Weinsaft Cooper said it is an exciting time for both brands as they work to expand their reach and market share.

"We look forward to ensuring that both champagnes continue to receive the attention and accolades they deserve," Cooper added.

Champagne Charles Heidsieck is currently imported by Rémy Cointreau USA.

Piper-Heidsieck became part of the Rémy Cointreau in 1985, before being sold to EPI in 2011.
