DESTIHL Brewery, an Illinois-based microbrewery, has entered into an agreement with World Class Beer of Indiana, a division of the Monarch Beverage Company, to distribute its craft beer brands throughout 70 counties in southern Indiana.

The brewery will roll out its kegs in Indiana in early November 2013.

The deal is the first opportunity for the brewer to sell and market its brands in Indiana.

Currently distributing beers in Wisconsin and Illinois, the brewery is further planning to partner with other distributors for distribution into northern Indiana.

Additionally, the company is set to introduce its automated canning line on 30 December 2013, with cans being released to market by the end of the first quarter of 2014.

The new canning line is to meet the growing demand for its beers, based on which the brewery also completed its first expansion project to triple its production capacity from 3,500 barrels to over 10,000 barrels.

The brewer will also introduce several beer brands, including its Belgian-style lineup such as Abbey’s Single, Tripel, Quadrupel, Ambassador Am-Belgo Double Pale Ale, Nit Wit and Saint Dekkera Reserve Sour Ale Series.

DESTIHL founder, brewmaster and CEO Matt Potts was quoted by beerpulse.com as saying that the agreement with World Class represents an exciting opportunity for DESTIHL to finally get their beers into a market that they love and that has been seeking their beers for quite some time.

"It also allows us to work alongside a distribution partner which has the requisite size, craft beer knowledge and reputation in the market that will allow us to get DESTIHL beers into the best craft beer retailers in the State. It is truly a great opportunity for us to grow substantially together," Potts added.

World Class Beer sales division manager James Printz said they are excited to partner with Matt and his team at DESTIHL, which brews uncommon beers uncommonly well, and they aim to make DESTIHL commonplace in Indiana.

"This is a great fit for the brewery and us. Our craft team is very excited to introduce the DESTIHL brands to our accounts, and we are thrilled to be able to sell those brands in our State," Printz added.
