Brown-Forman is set to restructure its Asia Pacific business into two new regions, Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia region (ANZSEA), and the North Asia (NA) region, from 1 November 2013.

The ANZSEA region will be based in Sydney, while the NA region in Hong Kong.

Both Michael and Smith have rich experience in the Asia Pacific region.

"These changes are being made to further strengthen our organizational focus and allocation of resources against our strategic priorities in this vast region," McCallum added.

The current Australia, New Zealand managing director Marshall Farrer will move to the company’s headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky later in 2013.
