Z Natural Foods expands superfood beverages line-up

US-based Z Natural Foods has expanded its functional superfood beverages line up with the addition of Organic Golden Milk.

The company claims that its Organic Golden Milk is a dairy-free beverage, which is creamy and lightly sweet and healthy largely due to it containing turmeric.

Produced using a blend of organic coconut milk, Z Natural Foods’ Organic Golden Milk is said to contain all organic ingredients such as turmeric root, cinnamon, ginger root, cardamom, black pepper clove and Himalayan salt.

Z Natural Foods Nutrition Sciences director Jonathan Parker said: “Turmeric, the primary active ingredient in Golden Milk, produces the bright yellow colour of this delicious golden drink.

“Our customers also really enjoy that our Golden Milk contains a compound called curcumin that supports a healthy inflammatory response and may activate the production of T-cells, special disease-fighting cells that may support a healthy immune system.

“One serving of Organic Golden Milk daily may be the perfect way to get all the tasty benefits far exceeding the nutrition in a typical cup of coffee.”

Packed in an air-locked, freezer-tight, re-sealable and stand up foil pouch, Organic Golden Milk is available for purchase for $19.99 per pound.

The company added that its Organic Golden Milk can be stored for two years.

Last month, Z Natural Foods added Organic Instant Mushroom Coffee to its functional superfood beverage portfolio

Infused with three kinds of mushroom powders including organic Chaga, organic lion’s mane and organic cordyceps, Organic Instant Mushroom Coffee is an instant dark coffee.

The coffee is said to offer a blend that is high in antioxidants, beta-glucans and chlorogenic acid.
