US-based beverage company Truly Hard Seltzer has expanded its portfolio with the launch of Truly Lemonade Hard Seltzer.

Truly Hard Seltzer anticipates that the combination of hard seltzer and lemonade flavour could revolutionise the category.

Available in four different flavours, Original Lemonade, Black Cherry Lemonade, Mango Lemonade and Strawberry Lemonade, the offering is now available across the US market.

The Boston Beer Company product development senior manager Casey O’Neill said: “We took the feedback from drinkers and created Truly Lemonade for those looking for more flavour than traditional hard seltzer yet not willing to compromise on calories, carbs or sugar.

“It really is the best of both worlds and brings together flavour and refreshment in a way that nothing else in the category does right now. Drinkers will have to taste it to believe it, but we’re confident they’ll love Truly Lemonade as much as we do.”

Crafted with naturally gluten-free ingredients, Truly Hard Seltzer has 5% alcohol by volume (ABV), 1g of sugar and 100 calories.

Truly Lemonade will be available across the US in a variety 12-pack and 16oz and 24oz single-serve cans of Original Lemonade.

The launch of its drink follows the release of the company’s optimised recipe to deliver crisper and more refreshing flavours.
