Global coffee company Starbucks has introduced Witch’s Brew Frappuccino to the US, Canada, Mexico and Caribbean markets.

This Halloween-themed drink will be available in all participating Starbucks stores for a limited time period.

Starbucks’ beverage development team member Jennica Robinson said: “We wanted to create a flavour that you might enjoy at a Halloween party.

“Witch’s Brew Frappuccino gets a little bit of juicy-ness from the orange flavour. Starbucks loves to celebrate Halloween, and each year our Frappuccino brings something different to the season.”

Witch’s Brew Frappuccino blends orange crème Frappuccino with a swirl of chia seeds. The beverage is topped with vanilla whipped cream.

Witch’s Brew Frappuccino follows the Zombie Frappuccino, which was introduced last year. It infused Frappuccino Crème with tart apple and caramel flavours and was topped with pink whipped cream and red mocha drizzle.

Robinson added: “We started with Frappula, which was inspired by an old-school horror movie. Zombie Frappuccino was like the walking dead, a little ghastly. Witch’s Brew is very fun, vibrant, bubbly, the life of the party.”

In September, Starbucks opened a new reserve roastery in Milan to strengthen its position in the Italian coffee scene.
