US-based cannabis-infused beverage manufacturer Sprig has expanded the distribution of its cannabidiol (CBD) infused soda line in New York, Florida, Nevada and Illinois.

Sprig is currently established in the Californian market and intends to increase the availability of its products, while supporting its nationwide sales strategy.

Sprig’s marketing vice-president Lisi Willner said: “These distribution agreements are a great milestone for us. Our mission at Sprig is to help the world smile more, and we’re now five states closer to making that happen.”

“The company’s THC-infused soda beverages are retailed at dispensaries across California, while its CBD-infused soda is sold nationwide.”

The beverage line-up will include total citrus original, citrus zero sugar, sparkling lemon tea zero sugar and melon zero sugar varieties.

Citrus original is sweetened with cane sugar, while the other three zero-sugar options are sweetened using stevia and erythritol.

Sprig claims that each product is crafted with 20mg of quality, all-natural CBD, which is derived from agricultural hemp and will be available at grocers, hotels, restaurants, and convenience stores.

Sprig’s CBD soda can also be purchased through the company’s website.

Going forward, the company intends to expand its products distribution network. Established in 2015, Sprig specialises in sparkling tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and CBD-infused drinks. The company’s THC-infused soda beverages are retailed at dispensaries across California, while its CBD-infused soda is sold nationwide.

CBD is a non-psychoactive component of cannabis that is known for its health benefits and wellness properties.
