US-based Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits has signed a new distribution agreement with Jackson Family Wines (JFW).

Under the new agreement, Southern Glazer’s will be responsible for distributing JFW’s wines in 13 US markets.

Southern Glazer’s CEO Wayne Chaplin said: “Southern Glazer’s has had a long-standing and solid relationship with the Jackson family for more than three decades.

“Florida is a critical market for our continued growth.”

“We couldn’t be happier that our two families are coming back together in Florida, an important wine market and the state where our business was originally founded 50 years ago. It feels like a homecoming, and we look forward to much success ahead in Florida.”

JFW’s wine products will be distributed by Southern Glazer’s, including its Artisanal Fine Wine & Spirits and Signature Luxury divisions.

Southern Glazer’s currently distributes JFW’s wines in Arkansas, Alaska, Arizona, Delaware, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, New York, Ohio, Oregon, and Washington.

It operates in 44 states across the US and in the District of Columbia, Canada and the Caribbean.

Founded in 1982, JFW crafts wines using sustainable viticulture practices, responsible vineyard and natural resource management.

JFW CEO Rick Tigner said: “All of us at Jackson Family Wines are extremely excited about this move. Florida is a critical market for our continued growth and we are thrilled to expand our relationship with Wayne, his family, and Team Florida.”
