Diageo’s brand Smirnoff has expanded its portfolio of spiked sparkling seltzer with the addition of Raspberry Rosé.

Smirnoff’s new Raspberry Rosé is a premium malt beverage with a bubbly blend of raspberry and rosé flavour and is claimed to contain only 90 calories per 12oz serving.

Diageo Flavoured Malt Beverages brand director Krista Kiisk said: “America’s love affair with rosé is still going strong so our Raspberry Rosé is a natural addition to our hard seltzer portfolio.

“The marriage of raspberry rosé flavour with the refreshing taste of spiked seltzer is guaranteed to be a crowdpleaser.”

The new Spiked Sparkling Seltzer Raspberry Rosé is said to be free from artificial sweeteners and will be joining Smirnoff’s other flavours, including Berry Lemonade, Cranberry Lime and Watermelon.

With 4.5% alcohol by volume (ABV), the flavoured malt beverage will be available in the US market later this month for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $8.99 for a six-pack of 12oz. slimline cans.

Diageo’s flavoured malt beverage portfolio includes Smirnoff Spiked Sparkling Seltzer and Smirnoff Ice.
