Craft brewer Sibling Revelry has released Coffee Red ale under its Descendant series.

Brewed with coffee sourced from Duck-Rabbit Coffee in Cleveland, Ohio, the beverage offers an aroma of iced coffee and caramel with a lightly roasted flavour and a sweet finish.

Coffee Red’s packaging features a matte silver label, which has been designed to make the product stand out from Sibling Revelry’s traditional canned line up while retaining its existing brand image.

Sibling Revelry head brewmaster Pete Velez said: “We’ve wanted to bring Coffee Red to distribution for some time, and we finally have the capacity to do so.

“We’ve wanted to bring Coffee Red to distribution for some time, and we finally have the capacity to do so.”

“We kept selling out in the taproom. We would take it to special events, and it would be a major hit. I think it’s the unique, distinctive coffee-forward profile that grabs people.”

The new ale will be available in six-pack cans across Ohio for $11.99.

Located in the US, Sibling Revelry produces seasonal and limited brews that are distributed throughout Ohio. It currently distributes four year-round beers, including India pale ale (IPA) Swing State Dry-hopped Pale Ale and Third Wheel Belgian Tripel. It also offers Blood Brood Hefeweizen, Siblime Lager, Oak’d Festbier and Pecan Brown Ale on a seasonal basis.

In March this year, the company expanded the distribution of its products outside of Northeast Ohio to Columbus, Cincinnati and neighbouring counties.
