UK-based spirits company Quintessential Brands has expanded its Bloom Gin portfolio with the addition of two new variants.

Called Bloom Passion Fruit and Vanilla Blossom Gin and Bloom Raspberry and Rose Gin, the two variants will be exclusively launched in Tesco in May this year.

Bloom Gin Global Brand Director Elaine Maher said: “Bloom Gin is loved by fans for its style, sass and substance, and with the introduction of our new Fruit and Floral Fusion Gins, we’re giving them the unmistakeably smooth taste of Bloom Gin, but with two of the hottest cocktail flavour trends incorporated.

“Our new signature serves to bring something truly new and exciting to the gin cocktail category, with reduced calorie cocktail recipes that appeal to both calorie counters and cocktail lovers alike.

“Given that cocktails are now one of the fastest-growing drinks categories within spirits, we’re confident that our new Fruit and Floral Fusions will delight consumers, especially over the summer months.”

The spirits company noted that its Bloom Passion Fruit and Vanilla Blossom Gin is inspired by the UK’s popular cocktail, while Bloom Raspberry and Rose Gin draws inspiration from the popular raspberry mojito.

With 40% alcohol by volume (ABV) Bloom Passion Fruit and Vanilla Blossom Gin and Bloom Raspberry and Rose Gin are said to feature sweet fruits and subtle florals to offer a fruity and floral taste, created without the addition of sugar or sweeteners.

Beginning May, Bloom Passion Fruit and Vanilla Blossom Gin and Bloom Raspberry and Rose Gin will be available in Tesco stores and online at Tesco.com and Amazon for an RRP £25 for 70cl.

Additionally, Bloom Gin noted that it will be redesigning its bottle labels across its Fruit and Floral Fusions lineup.

Last April, Quintessential Brands expanded its Greenall’s collection with a blueberry flavoured gin.

Created by G&J Distillers’ Joanne Moore in Cheshire, Greenall’s Blueberry Gin is produced using Original London Dry Gin.
