Pure NZ, a New Zealand-based producer of bottled drinking water, has forayed into the US market by launching its luxury quality water products in the country.

Established in 2010, the company distributes its products across New Zealand, as well as to the overseas markets.

The company noted that it is the first time that its products have made their debut in the US market since its inception.

Pure NZ said that it sources water from an aquifer beneath its bottling facility, claimed to be crisp, clean and consistent water quality.

All water is packaged at Pure NZ’s automated water bottling facility in New Zealand, said to be capable of producing volumes of up to 30,000 bottles per hour.

The company added that it uses 100% recycled plastic (rPET) bottles to reduce the creation of new plastic across the industry.

Pure NZ founder Tony Vesper said: “We know that making new plastic products is not environmentally friendly.

“So many beverage companies are still only utilizing virgin plastics, so we wanted to make our Pure NZ Still water bottles with only recycled material.”

The company added that it is prepared to meet customer demand for its products, which will be available both for online ordering and in stores throughout the US as early as 2020.

Earlier this month, US-based bottled drinking water producer Alkaline Water Company expanded the retail presence of its A88CBD Topicals products by adding new sales channels.

The company noted that A88CBD can be ordered online at Amazon, CBD.co and healwithnature websites.
