Wines and spirits producer Pernod Ricard UK has signed an extended six-year warehousing and logistics contract with British logistics company Wincanton.

The contract extends Wincanton’s warehousing services in a site approved by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC).

The logistics operator will also continue to provide delivery services to Pernod Ricard’s UK customers.

The six-year contract will bring the total partnership time between the two companies to 24 years.

Wincanton provides supply chain solutions to various brands across different industrial segments, including retail, construction, defence and energy.

With 18,000 employees, Wincanton has its operations in more than 200 locations across the UK and Ireland.

The logistics operator delivers its services with nearly 3,400 vehicles and with more than 4,000 drivers.

Founded in 1975 by the merger of Ricard and Pernod, Pernod Ricard’s brand portfolio includes Absolut, Jameson, Chivas, The Glenlivet, Plymouth Gin, Monkey 47, Malibu, and Perrier-Jouët.
