Pernod Ricard launches L’Orbe Vodka x Caviar

French alcoholic beverage firm Pernod Ricard has announced the launch of L’Orbe Vodka x Caviar.

Created following a five-year research and development process, L’Orbe Vodka x Caviar is the first vodka naturally infused with caviar.

L’Orbe brand produces white spirits using its patented encapsulation technology that blends natural alcohols and ingredients.

Furthermore, the brand’s technology, designed and developed to blend a combination of ingredients, enables in improving the intensity and complexity of white spirits without impacting the ageing process.

It added that its infusion method has the potential to preserve the integrity of the ingredients without any usage of additives, chemical stabilisation or aromatisation methods.

For creating Vodka x Caviar, L’Orbe combined Dankowski Diamond rye vodka with spicy and soft notes and a Royal Baeri caviar, which comes with a creamy texture and buttery notes.

The vodka variant supposedly presents a combination of buttery and nutty notes and a fresh taste of the sea.

Furthermore, Vodka x Caviar offers complex and potent flavours, enhancing individual characteristics of the two ingredients.

The spirit is available for purchase at La Maison du Whisky for €135 and Fortnum & Mason for £115.

Last November, Pernod Ricard partnered with China’s largest Baijiu producer Wuliangye International (HK) to capitalise on shared resources.

Under the partnership, the two companies agreed to focus on improving infrastructure and regional sales channel systems.
