US-based speciality coffee company Peet’s Coffee has expanded its portfolio with the addition of Summer 2020 beverage lineup.

Fruit Tea Shakers lineup will include six hand-shaken iced tea beverages produced using real fruit pieces.

The beverage lineup includes Strawberry Lemon Black Tea, Yuzu Citrus Black Tea, Tropical Berry Green Tea, Pineapple Citrus Green Tea, Citrus Hibiscus Tea, and Berry Hibiscus Tea, as well as the limited-edition Strawberry Vanilla Cold Brew and Citrus Cremesicle Cold Brew.

The company noted that Strawberry Lemon Black Tea contains lemonade, sweet strawberry puree, ice and real strawberry slices, while Yuzu Citrus Black Tea comprises lemonade, refreshing yuzu puree, ice and a slice of lemon.

Tropical Berry Green Tea contains lemonade, sweet strawberry puree, ice, and real strawberry slices and the Pineapple Citrus Green Tea has been hand-shaken with lemonade, refreshing yuzu puree, ice and a slice of lemon.

The Berry Hibiscus Tea is a caffeine-free variant produced using lemonade, sweet strawberry puree, ice and real strawberry slices, while the Citrus Hibiscus Tea, which is also a caffeine-free variant features lemonade, refreshing yuzu puree, ice and a slice of lemon.

Peet’s Coffee senior research and development manager Patrick Main said: “In celebration of the Summer season and as a representation of our commitment to handcrafted innovation, we are excited to launch a new iced tea platform called Fruit Tea Shakers.

“Consumers have developed a palate for beverages that combine both flavour and fun. We have showcased a diverse seasonal flavour portfolio of real fruit, including vibrant citrus, and ripe strawberries, to infuse effortlessly into our Mighty Leaf Tea.

“This smooth, refreshing blend results in an invigorating hand-shaken tea experience with each sip.”

In January, Peet’s Coffee teamed up with 21st Amendment Brewery to release 1966 Coffee IPA.
