US craft brewer North Coast Brewing Company has announced the nationwide release of its Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout in a 16 ounce (oz) can.

Since its launch in 1995, Old Rasputin is one of the company’s core beer brands.

North Coast Brewing CEO Jeffrey Ottoboni said that he is “beyond proud to feature this iconic beer in the new package, continuing company efforts to respond to market needs in new and innovative ways and to fulfil its responsibility to the larger world community through its sustainability efforts.”

North Coast Brewing Company is a producer of a wide range of beers, including craft pilsners Scrimshaw, and Belgian Style Ales such as Pranqster, Le Merle and Brother Thelonious.

The company’s beers are available across 48 US states.

In June, Artisanal Imports formed a strategic partnership with North Coast Brewing Company of Fort Bragg, California, to be its sales and marketing partner for the central and eastern regions of the US.

Back in August 2017, the son of the late American Jazz pianist Thelonious Monk filed a lawsuit against North Coast Brewing, alleging that the company is using his father’s name and image on the bottle and packaging of products such as the Brother Thelonious Belgian Style Abbey Ale.
