Virtue Energy Waters has launched natural sugar-free energy drinks in the UK.

The drinks, which come in two flavours, are free from sweeteners, and contain zero sugar and zero calories.

Virtue Energy Waters claimed that the energy water will help to sharpen the mind and increase stamina.

"We are seeking out customers that have matured from energy drinks and still want that extra energy source."

The new energy drink contains the same amount of natural caffeine as in a cup of coffee, however this energy is completely derived from natural sources, including yerba mate, a South American tea and natural antioxidant; guarana; and green coffee beans.

It is also comprised of ginseng and offers vitamin B: Niacin B3, Vitamin B6, Biotin B7, and Vitamin B12.

The drinks are prepared using sparkling water and natural fruit flavours to give an enriching taste. They are available in 250ml cans in two flavours, Lemon & Lime and Berries, at a recommended retail price (RRP) of £1.35.

Virtue founder Rahi Daneshmand said: “Virtue is not just targeting energy drink consumers. We are seeking out customers that have matured from energy drinks and still want that extra energy source but are looking for a better option.”

“Consumers are actively looking for ways to increase their energy levels. With Virtue Energy Water, we have created an innovative solution for this every day need, the first naturally sugar-free energy drinks.”

Virtue Energy Waters has also pledged to donate 500l of clean drinking water to the needy in developing countries for every can sold. This mission is undertaken with the organisation DROP4DROP.

Virtue Energy Water is available in selected retailers, including Ocado, amazon.co.uk, Planet Organic, As Nature Intended, and Holland & Barrett.

The UK energy drinks market is one of the fastest growing, valued over £1.3bn. It is expected to reach £1.6bn in the next three years.
