Starbucks has launched Snickerdoodle Hot Cocoa, a new expression of its hot cocoa.

Snickerdoodle Hot Cocoa is a blend of steamed milk, white chocolate sauce and cinnamon dolce syrup, topped with whipped cream and cinnamon sugar.

The new beverage is available from 2 December through the holiday period at select Starbucks stores in the US.

Starbucks is also offering any cake pop for $1 with the purchase of any hot chocolate through December 25 in select US stores.

The comapany also provides an assortment of mixes such as Starbucks Double Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix, Starbucks Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa Mix, Starbucks Marshmallow Hot Cocoa Mix, and Starbucks Peppermint Hot Cocoa Mix.

These mixes, along with hot cocoa inspired Starbucks Hot Cocoa K-Cup Pods, are available at select grocery stores.

The K-Cup Pod is made from a Keurig brewer, with cocoa and nonfat milk. It is reported to consist of of a pinch of sea salt and a dash of natural caramel flavour.
