S&D Coffee & Tea has launched Toddy cold brew coffee concentrates.

These concentrates are expected to simplify cold brew coffee for foodservice operations.

Making use of its proprietary Toddy commercial cold brewing process at scale, S&D offers cold brew coffee in easy-to-use concentrates, which alleviate the need for foodservice staff to spend hours measuring, steeping, and filtering coffee grounds to make cold brew in-house, which can take between six and 24 hours.

With this product, cold brew can be ready in minutes and served in batches or by the glass, enabling firms to be better prepared for every sale and limiting waste.

In addition, products are also shelf stable and reduce food safety and storage issues as with other in-house cold brewing methods.

"Our concentrates safely and consistently deliver delicious cold brew coffee every time."

S&D's coffee and tea marketing vice-president John Buckner said: "With the growing popularity of cold brew coffee, we saw the need for quality, craft-tasting products that are easy to implement.

"Our concentrates safely and consistently deliver delicious cold brew coffee every time, while making the process stress-free for foodservice operations."

The concentrates come in Cold Brew Coffee Black Label and Cold Brew Coffee White Label varieties.

Toddy Cold Brew Coffee Black Label concentrate is a 4:1 cold brew concentrate that offers a balanced cold brew coffee. It can be consumed pure black or customised to a customer's preference. Toddy Cold Brew Coffee White Label concentrate is a 24:1 cold brew concentrate formulated with a more pronounced cold brew coffee flavour for mixing with dairy in traditional iced coffees or frozen coffee drinks.
