Consumer products company ROK Stars has expanded its partnership with the Humphrey Bogart Estate in the US.

The two firms have acquired a new distillery in California and expanded their drinks portfolio with the launch of Bogart's Vodka.

Two years ago, ROK and the Bogart Estate created Bogart Spirits and launched Bogart's Gin internationally.

"The demand we saw internationally, combined with the US pre-orders, made it clear that we needed our own dedicated distillery."

Following the successful launch, the two firms felt Bogart Spirits had to acquire a distillery and grow its product line.

ROK Stars CEO Jonathan Kendrick said: “The demand we saw internationally, combined with the US pre-orders, made it clear that we needed our own dedicated distillery to guarantee supply.

“And since we're building a brand dedicated to an American film icon, it seemed only right that our distillery should be in California.

“Our fantastic Bogart's Vodka will now join our Bogart's Gin, and we are planning to further expand our product offerings in the relatively near future. Let's just say that a drink Bogart would have loved is aging as we speak.”

Besides, Bogart Spirits upgraded the Bogart's bottle, which features silk-screened labels, etc.

ROK Stars was co-founded by US billionaire John Paul DeJoria and UK entrepreneur Jonathan Kendrick, while the Humphrey Bogart Estate is managed by Robbert de Klerk and Stephen Bogart, son of Humphrey Bogart.

Stephen Bogart said: "We couldn't be more pleased about our partnership. The international launch has been wonderful, the new bottle is great, and I am especially thrilled that we have brought our production back to the United States."
