Global beverage maker PepsiCo has launched a new lemonade product called Lemon Lemon in the US market.

The new beverage is a carbonated lemon juice drink and does not contain artificial flavours or sweeteners.

The drink is available in Original, Blackberry, and Peach flavours and contains 70 calories per 12oz can.

PepsiCo's marketing director Rosemarie Iannucci said: "Lemon Lemon is the perfect refreshment when you're looking to escape from the day-to-day grind.

"We are excited to kick-off summer with a Lemon Lemon floating picnic, encouraging New Yorkers to relax, recharge, and reconnect with those around you."

In addition to the US market, the lemonade is available in Canada and Western Europe, including France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.

The company launched the new beverage for the summer season in the US and plans to support the launch across digital, mobile, and radio campaigns.

PepsiCo's products are distributed in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide. It offers a wide range of food and beverage products, which include Frito-Lay, Gatorade, Pepsi-Cola, Quaker, and Tropicana.

Last year, the company generated around $63bn in net revenue, driven by a complementary food and beverage portfolio.
