Invino wines

Good Company Wines, parent to online wine retailer Invino, has taken over Glassful, a wine company based in New York.

Invino is a private e-commerce site, which provides a selection of wines, ranging from homemade to known brands, to its members.

Japanese recipe website Cookpad plans to sell its subsidiary, Selecture, which was earlier acquired in 2014. Selecture is an e-retailer of gourmet and fashion accessories.

JAB Beech has signed a merger agreement worth $1.35bn with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to acquire the latter, and help it expand its business globally.

As per the definitive agreement, the acquirer will pay the shareholders of the target company $21 per share in cash.

Post the deal, the headquarters of the acquired company will stay in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, US. The deal is expected to be completed by the third quarter of this year.
