Manchester, UK-based bottler and distributor Kingsland Drinks has installed a new carbonation line for its sparkling wine.

This line can fill between 12,600 and 15,000 bottles every hour.

It will commence operations by sparkling two of the firm’s own brands; Shorn Pinot Grigio and Live White Zinfandel, reported offlicencenews.co.uk. Additionally, the line will be used to bottle still wine.

“We now have the ability to ‘sparkle up’ their customers’ favourite wines.”

Prior to addition of the new line, the Kingsland’s facility in Irlam, Manchester had four lines.

Kingsland Drinks managing director Andy Sagar was quoted by foodbev.com as saying: "We are delighted to see the carbonation line now up and running.
