UK-based wine maker Kingscote Estate has introduced its first ever sparkling wine into the market.

The Sussex winery has named its new wine product Cuvée Christen as a tribute to its late founder, Christen Monge, who died last year.

“Kingscote’s first ever estate sparkling wine has been produced using a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Blanc grapes."

Kingscote executive winemaker Owen Elias said: “Kingscote’s first ever estate sparkling wine has been produced using a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Blanc grapes."

Swirling with fine bubbles and prolonged mousse, the new sparkling wine contains citrus and lime leaf notes.

It offers a crisp English acidity and hints of apple, lemon and white chocolate.

Kingscote Cuvée Christen sparkling wine is now available for sale and can be purchased through online or at Kingscote Estate’s shop.

The product is priced at £25.99.
