Hood River Distillers, a US-based importer, distiller, producer and bottler of distilled spirits, has expanded its Pendleton Whisky portfolio with the launch of Directors’ Reserve, a premium Canadian whisky.

The new whiskey has been aged for two decades in American oak barrels, and is named after the iconic Pendleton round-up directors.

Hood River Distillers senior brand manager Tia Bledsoe said: “We're excited to introduce Pendleton Directors' Reserve Whisky as an ultra-premium product to the Pendleton Whisky family.

The company says that its Directors’ Reserve product is a tribute to the time-honored artistry of Pendleton Whisky, Randy Severe, a legendary saddle maker and the former Pendleton round-up director.

Randy Severe has designed the bottle’s commemorative leather sleeve to celebrate the exceptional character of this rare spirit.

Directors’ Reserve will be available in select markets starting this month, and be will retailed for approximately $125 (750ml).

Hood River Distillers was established in 1934 and headquartered in Hood River, Oregon. It has a broad portfolio of offerings that include Pendleton Whisky, Pendleton Directors' Reserve Whisky, and Pendleton 1910 Rye Whisky.
