UK-based distiller Hayman’s Gin is planning to move operations from Essex to London in a bid to produce its gin range at the new distillery in Balham.

The new distillery is located at Balham High Road in South West London. Production is set to begin later this year.

The facility will feature a consumer events space and a new training area.

"The increased capacity of the new site will allow us to share our range of traditional English gins."

Hayman’s Gin's head Christopher Hayman was quoted by Thespiritsbusiness.com as saying: “After several years of growth and continued interest in our story, I’m delighted we’re now at the stage where this has become a real possibility.

“The increased capacity of the new site will allow us to share our range of traditional English gins with ever more people both at home in the UK and with our many friends and partners all around the world.”

The company has appointed Jonathan Gibson to supervise brand development in the UK and the global market, as well as site operations.
