UK-based fresh produce firm G’s has collaborated with printing specialist Chadwicks, in order to make its entry into the drinks market.

Through the collaboration, the company has launched a new sports drink PWR+ that is branded using Chadwicks’ shrink sleeve solution.

Chadwicks claims that the shrink sleeves are UV flexo printed with a patterned surface matt lacquer and the ink is printed on the reverse of the film and the matt finish applied in register to the front.

Commenting on the packaging, Chadwicks Sales manager said: "We spent a lot of time in the development phase, getting the design right and ensuring a perfect colour match on the silver. It was also important that the text on the bottles, of which there were two variations, matched the colour of the lids exactly."

Made with natural ingredients, the PWR+sports drink does not contain added sugar, preservatives, sweeteners or any artificial ingredients

The PWR+ has secured an approval from Informed Sport and it is available in retail outlets such as Boots, Holland & Barrett and across the country.

G’s marketing director Anthony Gardiner said, "Chadwicks came highly recommended and we have been extremely impressed with the service we’ve received and the finished product."
