Green Flash Brewing, a San Diego-based craft brewery, is set to expand the distribution of its beers to North Michigan in February 2014, following successful run in Southern parts of the state.

The move is in line to meet the growing demand for its beers across the state.

Green Flash Brewing sales vice president Jim Kenny said their October entry into Southern Michigan has been a phenomenal success.

"While we knew this big beer market’s southern metropolitan areas would be a slam dunk, we are thrilled at the tremendous consumer demand for Green Flash throughout the entire state. Now that our production is ready to meet this demand, North Michigan is a ripe territory where we see great potential," Kenny added.

For Northern Michigan distribution, the brewery has partnered with 11 distributors including Alliance Bev, Alpena Bev, Bayside Bev, Dan Henry, Eastown Distributors, Gerry’s Distributors, I.H.S. Distributors, John O O’Sullivan, O&W, Powers Distributors, Wicksall Distributors.

The distribution lineup will include all Green Flash brews including West Coast IPA, Hop Head Red, Double Stout and all seasonal rotations including Palate Wrecker.

Green Flash Brewing will roll out its special and limited release offerings, including the Hop Odyssey series.

In Northern region, the brewery will focus on key cities including Lansing, Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo and Flint.

To support the expanded distribution, the brewery will host series of events such as guided tastings, concentrated sales training, heavy display, point of sale activity and other consumer events in early February 2014.
