Whisky brand Glen Moray has launched the new Elgin Heritage range with three new single malt expressions, which are aged 12, 15 and 18 years old.

While the 12 and 18-year old expressions were matured in American oak casks and contain fruits with vanilla, the 15-year old has seen a combination of sherry and American oak cask styles, and consists of spice, dried fruits and dark chocolate.

"Our unique Speyside climate gently influences these whiskies to produce a well-rounded character and complex finish.”

Glen Moray master distiller Graham Coull said: "Glen Moray's Elgin Heritage Collection has been carefully matured to create a smooth, sweet character combined with subtle oak flavours.

The 12 and 18-year old whiskys come in different shades of gold, while the 15-year old has a copper colour.

Glen Moray brand manager Raphaele Delerue said: “With our Elgin Heritage Collection, we aim to create an accessible slice of luxury that doesn't need to be saved for special occasions, it's there to be savoured and enjoyed.

"Our whisky encompasses nearly 120 years of expertise honed at our distillery in the heart of Speyside where there's an immense pride in the integrity of the brand.”

Introduced in 1897, Glen Moray currently has 250,000 casks in maturation at on-site warehouses.

With its distillery located at Elgin in Scotland, UK, the brand has seen a growth of 35% over the last three years.
