UK-based wine producer Lyme Bay Winery has collaborated with wine and spirits distributor Enotria&Coe to expand its regional distribution.

Lyme Bay's still wines, Shoreline, Bacchus and Pinot Noir Rose, and its sparkling wine Lyme Bay Brut Reserve will be included in the portfolio of Enotria&Coe, reported thedrinksbusiness.com.

Lyme Bay Winery managing director James Lambert was stated by the website as saying: "Enotria&Coe has a fantastic reputation for supplying premium quality wines to the on and off-trade, and this partnership demonstrates the growing appetite for English wines across the UK.”

Lambert added that this partnership will boost the company's existing distribution partnerships in core regional areas and enable it to reach customers in new markets.

Lyme Bay Winery introduced its first collection of wines in 2014. It produces fruit wines, liqueurs, meads and ciders. Its wines are listed with Waitrose, Booths, Waitrose Cellar, and Oddbins.

Lyme Bay Winery national account manager Josh Whitlam was quoted by the website as saying: “Production in year two is up 33% from our first year, roughly 45,000 to 60,000 bottles, however we can’t grow without the established routes to market, on and off-trade growth and distribution is equally important to us.”

“The addition of English wines to our portfolio has enabled us to open up new distribution routes due to the rapid growth in demand and consumer awareness of these products.”
