Cupcake Vineyards has added wine products Rosé and Sparkling Rosé to its portfolio.

The company claims these two products have been produced using grapes from some of the best grape-growing regions around the world.

Cupcake Vineyards' winemaker Jessica Tomei said: “In crafting the Rosé and Sparkling Rosé, I was once again inspired to travel the world seeking out the best vineyards, from California to Italy.

“I love the lightness and complexity of our Rosé offerings, and I’m thrilled to finally have them in stores available for all to enjoy and share with family and friends.”

Cupcake Vineyards’ 2016 California Rosé features a blend of Grenache, Pinot Noir, Syrah, and Merlot sourced from vineyards along the California coast.

"I love the lightness and complexity of our Rosé offerings, and I’m thrilled to finally have them in stores available for all to enjoy and share."

It has been produced in the dry Provencal style, with flavours of strawberry and watermelon. It will be retailed across the US.

Sparkling Rosé has been produced using Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grapes in Italy and contains floral flavours with refreshing hints of raspberry.

Sparkling Rosé will be offered for a limited time period between April and September this year.

Cupcake Vineyards' marketing director Kim Fabbri said: “Rosé continues to see tremendous category growth and we have received more and more interest from our consumers, making both the 2016 Cupcake Vineyards California Rosé and NV Cupcake Vineyards Sparkling Rosé natural additions to our portfolio.

“Rosé is an innately fun, joyful wine that brings people together. Cupcake Vineyards is excited to help consumers enjoy summer with these new offerings.”
