US-based Catoctin Creek Distilling Company has selected Blueprint Brands and the Craft Beer Guild as its new distributor in Massachusetts.

Blueprint Brands will distribute Catoctin Creek’s spirits including Catoctin Creek Organic Roundstone Rye, Catoctin Creek Organic Roundstone Rye "92 Proof", Catoctin Creek Organic Roundstone Rye "Cask Proof", Catoctin Creek Organic Mosby’s Spirit, and Catoctin Creek Organic Watershed Gin across the state.

The spirits will be available at fine restaurants, bars, and retail stores in the region.

Catoctin Creek Distilling founder Scott Harris said: "We are thrilled to expand our distribution on the east coast of the United States. Distribution in Massachusetts is a great next step in our efforts to grow our brand from its current mid-Atlantic region.

"We’ve had so much interest in our spirits in the New York region, that our distributor was anxious to get us into Massachusetts as well!"

Catoctin Creek Distilling has expanded its production capacity, with the installation of a new bottling line.

The bottling line is manufactured by Liquid Packaging Solutions and it has the capacity to produce nearly 10,000 bottles monthly.

Catoctin Creek now has the capacity to bottle both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Catoctin Creek Distilling president Becky Harris said: "This is a big improvement in our overall production process.

"While we have spare production capacity in our potstills and fermenters, our bottling capacity was quickly becoming an issue. It was literally the bottleneck in our process."
