Capri Sun, a brand of The Kraft Heinz Company, is expanding its juice drink line with the launch of Capri Sun Organic, which is claimed to be the brand’s first-ever organic offering, in the US.

The organic juice drink has been certified by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and has been launched by the firm to tap the growing demand for organic beverages.

It is claimed to contain one serving of fruit in every pouch, and is made with 66% fruit juice and does not contain artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.

“While kids simply want things that taste good, parents want to feel good about what they’re serving.”

Capri Sun Organic also contains 100% of the daily value of Vitamin C that children need in their daily diets, and no added sugar, the brand claimed.

Kraft Heinz Company refreshment beverages director Dennis Wu said: "Our consumers are at the centre of everything we do and we know that while kids simply want things that taste good, parents want to feel good about what they’re serving.

"Capri Sun Organic strikes the perfect balance between these two needs, offering the same great taste as original Capri Sun, but with the organic ingredients we know are important to moms and dads."

Capri Sun Organic is available in Fruit Punch, Tropical Punch, Apple, and Grape varieties.
