AQUA Carpatica, a mineral water brand, has expanded its US distribution with the launch of sparkling mineral and still spring varieties at Gelson’s Markets.

AQUA Carpatica is sourced from land deep within the Carpathian Mountains. The brand claims that with no agriculture or industrial activity in the surrounding areas, its water source is protected from chemicals, fertilisers, chlorofluorocarbon compounds (CFCs) and other contaminants, thereby enabling it to offer consumers with a healthier alternative a and transparent label.

Due to its concentration of calcium and magnesium, it is claimed to be suited to athletes and people with high levels of physical activity, and its naturally sparkling attributes also help in digestion.

As the sparkling and still varieties are sodium-free, contain natural electrolytes, and a high pH, they can be consumed by people with low sodium diets and those suffering from high blood pressure.
