Alkaline Water Company, a developer of electrolysis beverage process packaged and sold in several sizes, has announced that a significant technical advancement to its proprietary electrolysis equipment has led to more than double the daily product output at its primary bottling facility in Arizona.

The combined teamwork of the company’s chemical and engineering divisions had led to a breakthrough manufacturing process, which has bolstered production capacity, the company claimed.

This technical improvement has led to immediate scalability to meet growth projections for the company’s upcoming fiscal year.

The improved capacity will enable the firm to bolster single serving 500ml, 700ml and 1 liter sales opportunities through its direct store distributor (DSD) channel.

It intends to install the new process at all five manufacturing facilities to tap the summer sales season.

Once fully implemented, the company aims to ship over $4m of water every month.

Alkaline Water Company CEO and president Steven Nickolas said: "The ingenuity of our technical team has provided us the opportunity to increase capacity both quickly and economically.

"Even more importantly, we achieved this new capacity without the addition of ‘PH buffers’ to our formulation, which appears to be a recent and increasingly common but unfortunate practice elsewhere in our sector. We are very proud of our product, so maintaining the integrity of our water while employing a superior technology to increase our overall capacity is a huge win for us.

"While we continuously aim to refine our processes and distribution methods, we believe this particular advancement will prove instrumental in meeting the growing consumer demand for Alkaline88. With the added capacity and increased sales, we look forward to continued growth and an incredible fiscal 2016 for our company and shareholders."
