Austrian fruit juice concentrate producer Agrana is set to open a new manufacturing facility in Changzhou National Hi-Tech District's Life and Health Industrial Park, China.

With an investment of €21.75m, construction on the facility is expected to be complete by the end of next year and operations are set to commence in 2019.

The Changzhou manufacturing facility will produce fruit juice concentrate production. Its focus will also be on the research, development, and production of jam, fruit, vegetables, and seasoning.

The facility will serve companies such as Danone, Mengniu, Bright Dairy & Food, Unilever (Wall's), and Baxy.

Founded in 1988, Agrana produces fruit, juice concentrates, and sugar products, as well as and infant dairy offerings at its 56 manufacturing sites located worldwide.
