US-based Pulse Beverage (Pulse) has signed an agreement with grocery wholesaler Affiliated Foods (AFI) for the distribution of its Natural Cabana Coconut Waters in Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Wyoming.

Pulse will supply its Natural Cabana Coconut Waters to AFI’s distribution facilities in Amarillo, Texas. It plans to make use of AFI’s distribution system of grocery, convenience store, and restaurant clientele to enhance its consumer base.

Pulse Beverage's chief executive officer (CEO) Robert Yates said: “We are very pleased to partner with the premier regional wholesale grocery distributor, Affiliated Foods who has a great reputation in Texas and surrounding states.

“We expect AFI to have our coconut water products prominently placed in an incremental 300 additional grocery retail operations within the next six months.

AFI makes use of more than 1.2 million square feet of warehouse facilities to deliver $1.5bn worth of products annually to its clients. The company will supply Pulse products through its cooperative relationships with the Lowes branded grocery stores, the Farmers Country Market branded grocery stores, and other cooperative grocery stores.

Pulse Beverage offers Natural Cabana Lemonade / Limeade in seven low-calorie flavours and Natural Cabana Coconut Water in pineapple and natural flavours.
