Jones Soda has announced the availability of its Green Apple Cane Sugar Soda at around 400 7-Eleven locations in the Pacific Northwest region.

The product will be retailed at these stores as part of the Big Gulp programme.

Jones Soda's chief executive officer (CEO) Jennifer Cue said: “Every day we are seeing more interest and validation of Jones Soda as a fountain alternative to other mainstream brands.

“This is an amazing opportunity to extend our collaboration with 7-Eleven, while reaching a broader demographic. So treat yourself to a Jones in a different way, as our classic Green Apple Cane Sugar Soda will now be available on the fountain in the Northwest.”

Ingredients that are present in the soda are carbonated water, inverted cane sugar, natural and artificial flavours, phosphoric acid, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate, and calcium disodium EDTA.

"Green Apple is a staple for Jones Soda fans, but it has only been available in its bottled form."

Headquartered in the US, Jones Soda offers a range of beverages under brand names such as Jones Zilch, Jones Stripped, and Lemoncocco.

The company’s soda-based products are made using cane sugar and other quality ingredients.

7-Eleven's proprietary beverages director Rusty Smith said: “Green Apple is a staple for Jones Soda fans, but it has only been available in its bottled form.

“7-Eleven strives to provide Pacific Northwest customers with products they crave, and we know Jones Soda Green Apple will join our other BIG GULP fountain favourites.”
