Nestlé and Starbucks have collaborated for the launch of Starbucks premium instant coffee globally.

The coffee range will include Medium Roast and Dark Roast, as well as different coffee beverages and a tea latte.

This line boasts the combination of expertise of Nestlé in instant mixes, along with the premium taste of Starbucks.

Starbucks International channel development and global coffee and tea group president John Culver said: “We’re very excited to introduce our high-quality Starbucks coffees in a premium soluble format for customers to enjoy.

“The speed in which this innovation came to life is an example of the power of our alliance as we further extend the global reach of Starbucks for our customers and create long-term value for both companies.”

The product range will be available in the UK, Ireland, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Greater China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and South Africa from this month.

Furthermore, the premium coffees will be available in multi-serve tins and single-serve formats, sold in supermarkets and major online platforms.

The rich-tasting coffees have been crafted with high-quality and produced using 100% Arabica coffee.

Last week, Starbucks and Nestlé unveiled a range of coffee capsules for the Nespresso original system.

Nestlé Coffee Brands deputy executive vice president David Rennie said: “The continued strong collaboration between Starbucks and Nestlé enabled us to move at speed and to expand the Starbucks brand into the instant coffee segment.

“The instant coffee segment is growing fast globally. With the launch of Starbucks premium instant coffee, we have a new range that resonates with Starbucks consumers and will strengthen our leading position.”
