The tea line will be available in six different flavours and are claimed to have been produced using a full-spectrum hemp extract, botanicals and real fruit juices.

mood33 added that each bottle of its herbal tea contains 33mg of hemp to support the human body’s endocannabinoid system (ECS).

All tea products are claimed to be non-intoxicating, vegan, non-GMO and free of preservatives, artificial sweeteners or colours.

mood33 co-founder Steven Kessler said: “Our latest hemp tea product launch provides more inclusive mood-boosting options for customers nationwide.

“We have invested a significant amount of R&D into creating a clean tasting and fast-acting hemp product that can be easily incorporated into a variety of dynamic and wellness-focused lifestyles.”

To ensure that the extracted hemp is soluble in water, mood33 used its proprietary CBD microencapsulation process.

Packaged in a resealable aluminium bottle, the tea product will be available New York at select grocery outlets and will be rolled out across the US market from January 2020.
