Momentous Holdings has signed definitive agreements for the acquisition of V Beverages (VBEV).

Momentous has acquired a 100% ownership stake in VBEV, including its trademarks, recipes, production equipment and client base, as well as design and production teams.

Momentous Holdings president and CEO Andrew Eddy said: “I am excited by our award-winning line-up, which has already built a stable following with retailers and end-users alike, and solid reputation within the sector.

“I feel that our eco-credentials, in terms of both production techniques and packaging, position us uniquely within the thriving alcoholic beverage industry.”

“We have a clear strategy to increase our sales and expand our product range, within crucial national and international markets. Ultimately I feel that our eco-credentials, in terms of both production techniques and packaging, position us uniquely within the thriving alcoholic beverage industry.”

VBEV was originally created by Momentous chief distiller Max Chater and parent company The Draft House.

The acquisition of VBEV provides a new platform for Momentous to enter the alcoholic beverage sector with a new product line-up under the Victory brand, which includes Cold Distilled Gin, Bitter, Vodka, and Negroni.

Chater said: “It is pleasing that our products are receiving multiple levels of approval. While the IWSC awards give me great personal satisfaction, the overwhelming demand from leading restaurants in the leading culinary city, London, is astounding and must be a true recognition of our wonderful products.

“As we expand our product line we intend to build upon the knowledge garnered to date in our distillery.”

Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed by both the companies.
