Molson Coors Beverage Company has announced that it is planning to expand its Vizzy Hard Seltzer brand with Vizzy Lemonade in April.

By launching Vizzy Lemonade, the company intends to capitalise on its success last year.

The company will be launching its new hard seltzer variant in four different flavours including strawberry lemonade, peach lemonade, watermelon lemonade and raspberry lemonade.

Vizzy Lemonade will feature antioxidant vitamin C.

Molson Coors hard seltzers director Elizabeth Hitch said: “Lemonade and antioxidant vitamin C go hand-and-hand, and drinkers have been clamouring for a lemonade version of Vizzy.

“Vizzy Lemonade is bright, bold and comes in four fun and unique dual-flavor mash-ups, and it will be available just in time to kick-off spring.”

With 5% alcohol by volume (ABV), the new gluten-free line will be packaged in a 12oz can containing 100 calories. It will be available in variety 12-packs.

The new Vizzy Lemonade will be joining lemonade hard seltzers including Truly Lemonade, Bud Light Hard Seltzer Lemonade, Mike’s Hard Lemonade Seltzer and Crook & Marker Spiked Lemonade, some of which are already present or expected to be rolled out in 2021.

With the addition of Vizzy Lemonade, the brand aims to continue its distinction as a better-for-you option in the seltzer category.

Additionally, Vizzy brand also intends to launch a second variety pack, featuring new flavours of its flagship hard seltzer in March.
