Molson Coors Canada has selected Pomerleau-Alberici to design and build a new brewery in Quebec.

Pomerleau-Alberici is a partnership between Pomerleau and Alberici Constructors.

As part of the contract, Pomerleau-Alberici will develop and implement a complete construction solution using its extensive management and brewery process experience.

Located in Longueuil, the brewery is expected to be completed by 2021.

Molson Coors Canada president and CEO Frederic Landtmeters said: “Today’s announcement marks a significant step towards the implementation of the most important investment made by our business in the province of Quebec since its foundation.

The company is also planning to finalise the site layout and infrastructure, as well as perform an official groundbreaking ceremony to announce the construction later this year.
