US-based premium distilled spirits company MGP Ingredients has expanded its portfolio with the two new releases from George Remus Bourbon and Rossville Union Rye.

The company notes that the two limited-edition expressions will be offered in single barrels.

MGP Ingredients brands vice-president Andrew Mansinne said: “We’re proud to age some of the finest whiskey barrels in the country at our Lawrenceburg distillery.

“We feel that the time has come to provide our customers with access to George Remus and Rossville Union Single Barrels. Single Barrels are in high demand, and we’re in a unique position to offer a choice of mash bills to our trade partners.”

With full cask strength, MGP Ingredients George Remus Single Barrel Straight Bourbon Whiskey is available in two mash bills for purchase for a suggestive retail price (SRP) of $59.99.

Furthermore, Rossville Union Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey is a 100-proof release and is also offered in two mash bills for an SRP of $49.99.

The distilled spirits company said that it’s Barrel Bourbon and Rye is on pre-sell now and will be available in several mash bills.

Headquartered in Atchison, Kansas, MGP offers distilled spirits and speciality wheat proteins and starches. Its portfolio includes bourbon and rye whiskeys, gins and vodkas.

In May 2018, MGP Ingredients expanded its portfolio with the release of its first proprietary Rye Whiskey label called Rossville Union.

Named after the company’s founding distillery in Lawrenceburg, Rossville Union, distributed in two expressions, includes Rossville Union Master Crafted Straight Rye Whiskey and Rossville Union Master Crafted Barrel Proof Straight Rye Whiskey.
