Unilever’s tea brand Lipton has introduced a new range of fruit-infused iced herbal teas that are said to contain no added sweeteners or artificial flavours.

The new range is available in Strawberry Watermelon and Mango varieties, which are claimed to be caffeine-free and offer a combination of fruity and floral aromas.

Lipton Strawberry Watermelon iced herbal tea is a combination of sweet strawberry and melon flavours blended with mild sweet chamomile and hibiscus.

“Our new Lipton Iced Herbal Teas are just as hydrating as water, but pack much more flavour.”

Lipton Mango iced herbal tea delivers a ripe mango flavour with rosehips, sweet chamomile, liquorice root, lemongrass and orange peel.

Unilever tea director George Hamilton said: “We know families are looking for delicious alternatives to water that are healthy and families will enjoy.

“Our new Lipton Iced Herbal Teas are just as hydrating as water, but pack much more flavour. They’re the perfect addition to any summertime family meal, from BBQs to picnics.”

Produced using tea leaves picked at the peak of freshness, the new iced herbal tea range is said to have been brewed to provide a naturally smooth taste.

The two fruit-infused variants are now available in 16-bag boxes at grocery stores nationwide.
