US-based Joffer Beverage Company, through a licensing agreement, is introducing a range of flavoured sparkling waters under Jelly Belly brand.

The flavoured water will feature eight varieties, including French Vanilla, Lemon Lime, Orange Sherbet, Piña Colada, Pink Grapefruit, Tangerine, Very Cherry and Watermelon.

Joffer Beverage Company co-founder Stephen Joffer said: “We were on the back patio, drinking a couple of the more popular sparkling water brands, when I said out loud, ‘If only someone could nail sparkling water with stand-out flavours.’

“The lightbulb came on when my dad suggested, ‘Why not our own Jelly Belly flavors? We are known for flavour innovation after all.'”

The company claims that each of its drink contains only two ingredients, including carbonated water and natural flavours.

They are free from sugar, calories and sweeteners, the company added.

Packaged in cartons of eight 12-ounce cans, Jelly Belly Sparkling Water is set for lunch next week at Hy-Vee stores, a chain of more than 265 retail stores across eight Midwestern states.

Additionally, the beverages will also be available to purchase through the company’s website.

Going forward, the company intends to develop additional flavours of sparkling water and introduce them to the market.
