Jack Daniel’s Country Cocktails (JDCC) has expanded its range with the introduction of the Southern Citrus flavour.

Southern Citrus is a blend of grapefruit and citrus flavours that offers fruity aromas with hints of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey.

Jack Daniel’s Country Cocktail brand director Lisa Hunter said: “Friends of Jack Daniel’s Country Cocktails will have a new flavour to reach for this summer.

“For Southern Citrus, we used the ripe medley of citrus fruits to create the perfect summer drink for easy entertaining at home or enjoying during your favourite warm-weather activities.”

Launched in May 1992, JDCC’s range includes malt beverages from the Jack Daniel’s Family of Brands.

JDCC’s beverages are ready-to-drink and suitable for a wide variety of occasions.

Jack Daniel’s new Southern Citrus will join the existing portfolio, which features Black Jack Cola, Cherry Limeade, Berry Punch, Downhome Punch, Lynchburg Lemonade, Watermelon Punch and Southern Peach.

The new Southern Citrus flavour will be offered in stores beginning this month.

Packaged in 10oz bottles, the new variant is available across the US market in a pack of six for a suggested retail price (SRP) of $7.99.

Last month, Brown-Forman’s launched Jack Daniel’s No. 27 Gold Tennessee whiskey in the US. First released as a travel retail exclusive item in select markets in Asia, the whiskey is claimed to have been matured in new charred American white oak barrels at Jack Daniel Distillery.

The Jack Daniel’s spirits brand is found in more than 170 countries worldwide.
